After a run-flat puncture
- Check your handbook. Many makers allow around 50 miles at up to 50mph, but it varies.
- Drive gently to somewhere safe and call us. Don't keep going for longer than you need to.
- Most makers advise replacing a run-flat that has been driven on deflated, rather than repairing it.
What we do
- Fit the run-flat with equipment suited to stiff sidewalls, so the tyre and wheel aren't damaged.
- Balance the wheel and set the pressures.
- Check the tyre pressure warning light is cleared before we leave.
Can I fit a normal tyre instead?
Cars built for run-flats usually have no spare wheel and sometimes different suspension settings. Mixing run-flat and normal tyres on the same axle isn't advised. We'll talk it through with you on the phone.

Which cars use run-flat tyres?
Many BMW and Mini models, and some Mercedes, Audi and other makes. If the sidewall says RFT, ROF, SSR, ZP or similar, it's a run-flat. Read the markings to us when you call.
Can you repair my run-flat instead of replacing it?
We don't repair tyres. Most car makers advise replacing a run-flat after a puncture anyway, especially once it's been driven on flat. We bring a new one in your size and fit it where the car is.
How quickly can you get to me?
Usually within 30 to 60 minutes. It depends on where you are, the traffic and the time of day. When you call, we give you a real arrival time before you book.
How much will it cost?
It depends on your tyre size and the tyre you want. Call 0808 157 0123 with the size from the side of the tyre (it looks like 205/55 R16) and we'll give you a price on the phone. That's the price you pay.
