Mobile tyre fitting or a garage?
For a new tyre, a mobile fitter saves you the trip:
- You don't drive on a damaged or illegal tyre to get there.
- You don't wait around. The work fits around your day.
- Day or night, weekends and bank holidays.
If your car also needs wheel alignment or other repairs, a garage is the right place for that. We'll tell you if we think so.
When do you need a new tyre?
- The tread is at or near 1.6mm, the UK legal minimum, across the centre three-quarters of the tyre.
- There's a cut, bulge or crack in the sidewall.
- It's punctured, or has been driven on while flat.
- It's old and cracking, even if the tread looks fine.
Driving on an illegal tyre can mean a fine of up to £2,500 and three penalty points per tyre.

How much does mobile tyre fitting cost?
It depends on your tyre size and the tyre you choose. Call 0808 157 0123 with the size from the side of your tyre and we'll give you a full price on the phone, fitting included. That's the price you pay.
How quickly can a mobile tyre fitter get to me?
Usually within 30 to 60 minutes, depending on where you are and the time of day. You can also book a time that suits you. We tell you the arrival time before you agree to anything.
How long does the fitting take?
Usually about 20 to 30 minutes for one tyre once we're with you, a little longer for several tyres or run-flats.
Do I need to be there?
Someone needs to hand over the keys, and the locking wheel nut key if the car has one. At work, most people leave the keys at reception and carry on with their day.
Do you fit tyres at night and at weekends?
Yes. Our mobile tyre fitting runs 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, including bank holidays.
I've got a puncture. Can you help?
Yes. We don't patch or plug tyres. We bring a new tyre in your size and fit it where the car is, so you drive away on a tyre you can trust.
Can you fit run-flat tyres?
Yes, with equipment suited to their stiff sidewalls, and we check the tyre pressure warning light is cleared before we leave. See run-flat tyre fitting.
I've lost my locking wheel nut key. Can you still fit a tyre?
